THIS IS A LEGALLY BINDING RELEASE WAIVER OF LIABILITY, AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK AGREEMENT (the "Agreement") describe what you can expect from us. The terms "we", "us", and "our" refer to Teach Travel Discover and the term "you", "I" "the traveler" or "the customer" refers to the individual who signs this agreement.
Please read it carefully before signing/accepting/acknowledging. If you are obtaining a quote for an/or securing or procuring travel for more than just yourself, all references below to "I" (and derivations thereof, including without limitation "my" and "me") shall be read to mean you on behalf of yourself and each individual within your group for whom you are obtaining a quote and/or securing or procuring travel.
I understand that Teach Travel Discover is not the source or supplier of the travel services, airline travel, or any third-party operated excursion or activity that I have requested, and acts solely as an agent for the actual suppliers of such services. I have been advised that the suppliers whose names appear in the information supplied to me or those who are actually responsible for providing services I have purchased. I consent to and request the use of those suppliers and agree not to hold Teach Travel Discover responsible should any of these suppliers: 1) fail to provide the travel services I have purchased; 2) fail to comply with any applicable law; or 3) engage in any negligent act or omission that causes me any sort of injury, damage, delay or inconvenience. Teach Travel Discover can accept no responsibility for losses or additional expenses due to delays or changes in air, sea, or other services, sickness, weather, strike, war, quarantine, or other causes outside of their control.
I agree that neither Teach Travel Discover nor its parent, affiliates, subsidiaries or representatives will be or become liable or responsible in any way for any loss, costs, expense, injury, accident or damage to person or property resulting directly or indirectly from (i)the acts or omissions of the suppliers, including, but not limited to, delays or cancellation of services, cessation of operations, bankruptcies, breakdown in machinery or equipment, technology problems, or changes in fares, itineraries or schedules, and/or (ii) acts of God, fire, acts of government or other authorities, wars, acts of terrorism, piracy, civil unrest, strikes, riots, thefts, pilferage, epidemics, pandemics, quarantines, other disease, climatic aberrations, dangers incident to activities or from any other cause beyond Teach Travel Discover's control.
I affirm that I am voluntarily participating in the travel services that Teach Travel Discover has reserved. In addition, Teach Travel Discover is not responsible for special, indirect or consequential damages. I hereby agree to indemnify and hold Teach Travel Discover harmless from and against any and all claims, liabilities, and costs of any kind (including the cost of reasonable attorney's fees and disbursements in the defending such claims) to which they may be subject by reasons of its negligence, the breath of this, or any other of its action.Â
I will review my travel documents for accuracy upon receipt and understand that I may contact Teach Travel Discover if I have any questions. I understand that it is my responsibility to review the accuracy of all the details in the travel quotations provided to me and to confirm that same to Treach Travel Discover. I understand that any special requests noted on my documents are not guaranteed and are provided a the sole discretion of the supplier. I will not hold Teach Travel Discover liable for any unfulfilled documented requests. I understand that all reservation fares typically involve restrictions (including but not limited to, restrictions related to cancellation) and that changing any aspect of my travel arrangements may result in the payment of additional money. I understand that the airline tickets, air tours or other products I am purchasing are subject to supplemental price increases that may be imposed after the date of purchase. Post-purchase price increases may be applied due to additional costs imposed by a supplier or government. I acknowledge that I may be charged additional sums by Teach Travel Discover to offset increased fees, fuel charges, taxes, fluctuations in foreign exchange markets or any combination thereof. I hereby consent to any post-purchase price increases and authorize Teach Travel Discover to charge my credit card for such additional amounts.Â
PASSPORTS: Everyone, including children and infants, MUST have a VALID passport to travel internationally (not Passport Card). Failure to comply will result in denial of boarding, no refund, no exceptions (out of the USA). Teach Travel Discover is NOT responsible for passports in ANY way. Passports are required to be valid for 6 months from your return date. PASSPORT CARDS ARE NOT VALID FOR TRAVEL INTERNATIONALLY VIA AIR!
HONEYMOON & ANNIVERSARY TRAVELERS: You MUST bring a copy of your marriage certificate to qualify for any complimentary honeymoon/anniversary package (photocopy is recommended). Failure to have such proof of marriage will result in the resort denying these complimentary privileges (if applicable). PLEASE notify your Teach Travel Discover agent if you are celebrating a Honeymoon or Anniversary so that they can annotate this in your reservation. Typically resort will honor these packages up to 30 days before or after your honeymoon/anniversary date.
CHANGES TO RESERVATIONS: ANY changes made to your existing room reservation are subject to the current rates, promotions, and terms at the time of change. In addition, we understand that sometimes situations arise and there may be the need to adjust dates of travel and/or room category due to unforeseen circumstances. Teach Travel Discover will allow one (1) free adjustment per room reservation without there being any additional fees added. Moving forward, Teach Travel Discover reserves the right to charge a $25 Service Fee for having to make additional changes to an existing reservation.
FINAL PAYMENT: The final payment MUST be received NO LATER THAN 45 days prior to departure unless otherwise noted. Final payments are not automatically charged. Please note your calendar of this final payment date as reminders may not be sent, however, we try to send reminders about a week before it’s due. You must contact me at 609-456-9993 or travel@teachtraveldiscover.com on the date you'd like the payment to be posted. Teach Travel Discover is not responsible for cancellations due to payments made after this date. Late fees will apply.
CANCELLATION PENALTIES: Please refer to the terms and conditions listed on your tour company site.
LATE FEES: Final payments not received prior to the due date above will incur a $25 per person late fee. All reservations are subject to cancellation and hotel penalties as described above if final payment is not received on the due date. Late fees are not covered by the travel insurance and are always non-refundable.
All the above would be protected with the optional Travel Insurance with the exception of late fees. If you do not have insurance – natural disasters (such as hurricanes), cancellations for ANY reason (medical/personal emergencies, cancelation of the wedding, etc.) do not relieve you from these penalties. ONLY the Travel Insurance will ensure you coverage. All cancellations must be received in writing.
CANCEL FOR ANY REASON TRAVEL INSURANCE: You can opt to purchase insurance. There are several types of insurance policies. However the Cancel for Any Reason Insurance can only be purchased at the time your reservation is made. When/if you purchase cancel for any reason travel insurance you will be sent the full terms and conditions based on the plan you purchase.
EUROPEAN TRAVELERS: ANY cancellation terms and conditions you sign with a tour company supersedes these terms and conditions. Planning fees are non-refundable.
TRAVELING WITH CHILDREN: Children under 18 years of age not traveling with both parents or legal guardian(s) may need to present a notarized letter from the absent parent/guardian granting permission to travel outside the United States and provide emergency medical care if necessary. Teach Travel Discover is not responsible for lack of compliance to provide proper documentation to airport authorities. It is the responsibility of the traveler & the traveler’s parents/guardians to provide proper documentation to airport authorities.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS: Travel documents will be sent to you no later than ten (10) days prior to departure date. Please read through these documents immediately; misprints, misspellings, incorrect dates etc. are not the responsibility of Teach Travel Discover Included in your travel documents (if airfare is purchased through Teach Travel Discover) are airline electronic ticket receipts (proof of purchase, not boarding passes or actual tickets). Boarding passes are printed at the time of check in; online with the airline directly, or at the airport when showing passport & checking in luggage. It is very important that you take your travel documents with you in addition to passports and a major credit card for any baggage fees that may apply.
BAGGAGE FEES: Due to continual changes in airline baggage policies it is suggested that you inquire with your airline's website for up-to-date fees & information. Teach Travel Discover is NOT responsible for additional fees incurred for baggage or seating. BAGGAGE FEES ARE NOT PART OF AN ALL-INCLUSIVE PACKAGE!

AIRLINE SCHEDULE CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS: Occasionally airlines change flight schedules, & may even cancel flights entirely. These changes are beyond Teach Travel Discover's control. In the event that such a situation occur; Teach Travel Discover will do its very best to assist you with finding best possible alternate option(s). If the flight time change is minor (2 hours or less) the airline will automatically make the change (airline policies/rules entitle them to legally do so). Teach Travel Discover will notify you of major changes. Please Note: there may be additional costs to re-book a new flight should the airline cancel or make a major change to your original flight itinerary. Teach Travel Discover is NOT responsible for any additional costs or fees imposed by the airlines. It is the responsibility of the passenger to check for last-minute airline flight time changes within 24 hours of departure. Teach Travel Discover is not responsible for changes that may occur within 24 hours of original flight departure time.
RE-CONFIRM YOUR FLIGHTS: Teach Travel Discover advises you personally re-confirm your flight schedule within 24 hours prior to departure directly with the airline in case of any last-minute changes or delays. Most airlines allow you to check in online 24 hours prior to departure using the “Record Locator” (found in your Teach Travel Discover documents)
AIRLINE CHECK-IN: Please check in with your airline at the airport no later than two (2) hours prior to scheduled flight departure time.
RESORT CHECK IN: Check-in time at most resorts is 3:00 pm (local time). If you arrive prior to 3:00 pm your room may not be ready. The resort will store your luggage in a secure location on property so you may start enjoying your vacation without delay. Change into something more comfortable and enjoy a nice lunch, swim in the pool, walk along the beach, etc. until you are notified that your room accommodation is ready for check-in.
DRESS CODE: ** MEN ** - Please be advised that some resort restaurants may require long pants, a collared shirt, & closed-toe shoes. Please pack accordingly.
DISPUTE RESOLUTION:
All parties to the agreement have waived their right to a trial by jury if there is any dispute arising out of or relating to the agreement or the transition.
